New Year's Fast Day 7

Day 7 (1-22-17) Love through life transformed

"I have been crucified with Christ; and it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and delivered Himself up for me.” Galatians 2:20

Thought: Live a life of Radical Love

We would like for you to know how thankful we are that you have chosen to seek Jesus Christ in this last 7 days. Our prayer is that you will continue each day to find freedom in the love relationship with Jesus Christ. Be reminded that when you make mistakes to go to Jesus right away and ask for forgiveness. Do not let it fester and grow, and please don’t beat yourself up over it. To live a life of freedom in Jesus Christ, we live every moment of every day, in worship and service to Him. Please find a mentor who can help you in this love relationship. Please also begin to pray and find someone you can encourage as well. We are praying for you.

New Year's Fast Day 6

Day 6 (1-21-17) Love through service part 2

“Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance, and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:1-2

Thought: Doing Jesus Christ things breaks you free from the natural, and catapults you into the Spiritual.

We do not or cannot do enough to buy a relationship with Jesus, it is a free gift that He gives us. The doing comes from the joy of recognizing and experiencing the love that comes from this free gift. You see Jesus in an unconditional love relationship with God saw that His life of sacrifice and death could give every person the chance to experience the same love relationship He had with God. So His life purpose on the earth became YOU not Him. Serving Jesus Christ by helping and encouraging others becomes a joy, because of what Jesus did. Serving and giving breaks the chains of selfishness and lust for the natural from me and gives me a heart of compassion for others. Each act of serving given by Jesus, done for Jesus is given back to Jesus for His glory. We do these things not to get anything back, that would be selfish, but we do them because of the love relationship. Start serving other’s unconditionally, first in your family, then your Church, and then community. Want to learn more about this? Contact us and we would love to serve you in seeking to break the chains of the natural and seek Jesus Christ.

New Year's Fast Day 5

Day 5 (1-20-17) Love through service part 1

“Do you not know that those who run in a race all run, but only one receives the prize? Run in such a way that you may win. And everyone who competes in the games exercises self-control in all things. They then do it to receive a perishable wreath, but we an imperishable. Therefore I run in such a way, as not without aim; I box in such a way, as not beating the air; but I buffet my body and make it my slave, lest possibly, after I have preached to others, I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians 9:24-27

Thought: Unconditional love has no coercion or manipulation attached to it.

Have I ever done something for Jesus, that I did not want to do? The answer to that is yes, but please keep reading. I cannot think of a time that I have done something like that, in which I did not realize that Jesus asked me to do it for my own good. Why is that? I am glad you asked. Though all those times, I have learned and come to understand a deeper part of Jesus’ unconditional love. I challenge you today to be a radical love of God thinker. Jesus Christ has a plan and purpose for your life to glorify Him in the world around you. To understand and prepare for this purpose we must exercise for that. Start Spiritual exercise this year, so you can compete in the race of life. Learn what a true love relationship with Jesus Christ is through worship, seek a mentor who can encourage you in this journey. Then pray and seek to encourage others. I encourage you to start NOW.

New Year's Fast Day 4

Day 4 (1-19-17) Love through worship part 2

"God is spirit, and those who worship Him must worship in spirit and truth."  John 4:24

Thought: Maybe it is time to be a radical

We just scratched the surface of worship yesterday. But Jesus lets us know how to worship in this verse. You see it is hard for us to worship Jesus when we are tied to the natural. Many of us think, eat, and sleep natural, what we can see, what we can touch, are able to figure out, or what makes sense to us. Did you notice the first part of worship is “spirit”? This describes our mind, will and emotions, and where they are to search for Jesus. Our mind, will and emotions must step out of the natural and step into the spiritual for worship. Out of body experience you say? Well yes sort of, this is intentionally setting aside thoughts and worries of the day, and focus just on the relationship. This is called intimacy at its deepest level. Jesus already knows your cares and worries. The coolest part of this is that when you set aside those cares and worries in worship, you then have the capacity to hear answers and see direction for overcoming those thoughts and worries in the natural. While this is a lifelong process, we need to start somewhere, so why not start now? We do not get it right all the time, but the more we seek to worship in this way, we find the truth through Christ and it get easier the longer we seek the Worship Jesus Christ.

New Year's Fast Day 3

Day 3 (1-118-17) Love through worship part 1

“And by this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.” 1 John 2:3

Thought: What is worship anyway

Worship really is simply a two way expression of love. What we often miss in this expression is that of a two way relationship. True worship is a recognition that Jesus Christ is my only source of life. I will not breath, talk, or do anything today without Jesus Christ. But do I thank Him for that? Do I give Him glory for that? Giving Him glory means that I tell Jesus and others throughout the day, what He is doing. This is not a top down, you do as I say only relationship. No this is a want to get to know you personally relationship as well. Start a new way of communication today, ask for forgiveness for anything you know does not represent Jesus, Receive His forgiveness, and seek to listen and be obedient to what he says to you through that two way conversation. This conversation happens in talking with Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible, and talking with other believers around you. Pray and seek a Spiritual mentor for this year.
